Twilight Chinchillas are small hobby breeders of show, and pet quality chinchillas located in Spokane Washington. We are members of the MCBA (Mutation Chinchilla Breeders Association) Our ranch brand is MTWC. Our chinchillas are cherished members of our family. All of our chinchillas have names, and are spoiled with hammocks, toys, houses, wood chews, and all recognize the Chinchilla cookie jar!

We strive not only to improve our herd with sound, quality animals, but to offer you the customer, sound quality pets. Chinchillas are a long term commitment, and we want you to enjoy years with your new friend.
We keep detailed records on all our animals. We are picky about whom we purchase our animals from, and will not breed or acquire any animal with out a pedigree, and/or those with no breeding history. Any chin bred here by us, is guaranteed against genetic defects that can compromise their health (like teeth) for one full year. We will replace any animal if it is found to be a genetic problem from our herd. We strive to ensure our animals are quality animals. Some of our lines include Furball, Shoots, Somavia, JAGS and Otten. The majority of our animals are 1st place or higher, with Color phase, and Reserve champs, as well as our favorite girl Rosebud who took Female of Show!
Babies are handled from day one, when they are checked over and weighed. Our youngest son is a young chinchilla enthusiast, and often helps in socializing our babies, as well as showing chins himself. Our chins accustomed to everyday noises of family life, which includes children yelling back and forth, barking dogs, and the birds yelling back at the dogs AND kids to "knock if off". I will stress the importance of having a quiet refuge for them where they can catch a few zzz's during the day, as they are nocturnal.

Chinchillas are a long term commitment, and we will not sugar coat anything in regards to their care, and requirements just to make a sale. As an animal lover, and breeder, honesty, quality care, and compassion are very important qualities that we strive for. I will never misrepresent an animal, and will always disclose all information.
We want the best for them in their new home, and often see chinchillas being rehomed because the owner did not read up on what they were in for. I'm more than happy to educate you if you are new to Chinchillas, and be there for you, for as long as you have one of our babies.
I hope my site can help educate you on the aspect of Chinchilla ownership, as well as all the pro's and cons, and we do warn you chins are addicting!
